ATVL Senior Mentor - Entrepreneurship Faculty at USC Upstate

Brian Brady is Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Senior Instructor of Entrepreneurship at USC Upstate George Dean Johnson, Jr. College of Business and Economics. Previously Brian served as the Director of the GreenHouse Business Incubator at the JCBE which had 8 companies and support organizations. In addition, for one year Brian was the program manager and a mentor for START:ME Spartanburg, a 14- week business accelerator program that focuses on providing knowledge, networks, and capital to Spartanburg's entrepreneurs.
Before joining USC Upstate in 2016, Brian had dual appointments at the UConn School of Business as the founding Director of the UConn Stamford Learning Accelerator, mentoring student consulting group engagements with growth-stage companies. He also served as  clinical faculty at the Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in addition to being Instructor in Residence, Marketing. Brian was also  a mentor and instructor for UConn’s Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities and for one year a mentor and guest lecturer for UConn’s  Innovation Quest Program. He was the co-founder of UConn’s Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment Forum, an annual conference bringing together over 350 women entrepreneurs from greater New York for networking, workshops and mentoring.
Prior to his academic career, Brian was a co-founder of a marketing services company serving both national and international clients and held management positions at ADP, Omnicom/BBDO and Pitney Bowes. His corporate marketing and academic experience, position Brian to be an outstanding mentor at ATVL and his current duties at ‘The George’ creates an excellent bridge between ATVL and the student community he teaches.
