ATVL Senior Mentor Fellow - Connecting Investors with Scalable Ventures
Chris has extensive experience working with venture capital funds, angel investment groups, other investors and emerging-growth companies, often in the artificial intelligence and other tech sectors, but also in a range of other fields, from consumer products to manufacturing.
As a partner at New York City-based law firm Reitler Kailas & Rosenblatt LLP, which Pitchbook ranks in the top 10 globally, nationally and in the Southeast, he regularly counsels’ investors and companies in venture capital and other financings and with legal matters as companies grow. As a member of HBS Alumni Angels of Greater New York, where he formerly co-led the legal tech sector, he sees financing transactions from an investor perspective. As a mentor for various startups, he has enjoyed helping them grow and scale. As New York City co-city lead for FaithTech, he enjoys working with members of the tech community, including nonprofits, to deploy their tech skills.
As a Greenville native, he enjoys returning to South Carolina and helping to build ties between companies and investors both locally and in the Northeast. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1998 and, prior to joining Reitler Kailas & Rosenblatt LLP, worked at several New York City-based law firms and a large bank in various finance fields. He will be a great mentor at ATVL guiding ventures to prepare for investment and financial decisions.
