ATDC Senior Mentor Fellow - Inaugural Cadre

Ward Broom is a serial entrepreneur with significant manufacturing technology experience in bringing products to market, managing business growth, and advising startups. He is actively involved in the startup community as an Angel Investor (Atlanta Technology Angels) and currently serves in advisory and fractional operational roles to multiple technology startups. He is also a Startup Catalyst at Georgia Tech’s Incubator, the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC). His position at ATDC is sponsored by Amazon Robotics. After working in one of Atlanta’s premiere technology companies, Scientific-Atlanta, Ward became a partner in DMSI, an electro-mechanical product development and contract manufacturing firm. He then co-founded the healthcare company, IPA, https://www.thinkipa.com/ , and served as the Executive VP and COO. He played an integral part in taking the company from product concept to market leader and setting up in-house product development and manufacturing operations. Ward is also the co-founder of the startup EnOPrep, https://enoprep.com/ , and Co-CEO for the startup NEMO Therapeutics, https://lnkd.in/eQFFkru6 . He holds multiple technology patents and has been a guest lecturer at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business. Ward holds Bachelors and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and an MBA degree, all from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ward’s extensive experience founding a number of successful startups, working with numerous ventures as a catalyst at the ATDC and being an Angel Investor gives him many perspectives that he will deliver as a senior mentor in the Inaugural Cadre at ATVL.
